The Warren Jones Blog
Welcome! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Warren Jones and I have worked in the emergency services since 1997: first as a Police Officer in London and then as a Paramedic in Essex. Watching life unfold in its rawest form has given me a unique insight into the human psyche and the natural laws that govern our existence on this planet. The result is that I am passionate about that short lived experience we call 'life' and feel compelled to honour those who have had their lives taken prematurely by making the most of mine. Add to this the heritage of a father who spent his life writing articles and books for a living and you may begin to understand why I have a compulsion to share my mental meanderings with complete strangers via this blog. In my spare time I train in Muay Thai at the KO gym in east London, practise yoga and meditation at home, travel to the remotest places I can find from the jungles of Borneo to the tundra of the Artic and try as many new things as possible. I hope you find my words of interest and if not, I suppose I will stick to what I do best - mopping up the pieces of what Zorba the Greek referred to as the "catastrophe of living".
